New residential development launches in February 2017

A new residential development, featuring 45 luxurious executive apartments will launch in the leafy suburb of Morningside, in Johannesburg in February 2017. Passfields, a peaceful and park-like neighbourhood, will be located on the tranquil, tree-lined road, fittingly named French Lane in Morningside.

This prime position of the new development places residents conveniently close to the bustling CBD of Sandton, the business hub of Johannesburg, with restaurants, shopping centres, gyms, hospitals and schools all within close proximity.

Passfields also offers residents a first-class living experience in state of the art, contemporary designed homes, with a swimming pool and clubhouse entertainment area which will be accessible to all. This is one of the few residential developments that strives to keep and nurture natural surroundings, including the preservation of large existing trees and greenery.

South Africa’s lifestyle, coupled with the relatively low cost of living, have been the main motivators behind foreign property buyers. Foreigners have also capitalised on the recent weakness of the rand which offers them more bang for their buck. According to statistics, most foreign home owners in South Africa are based in Europe, mostly in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Holland, and France.
